Three members of the Speke Garston Handball team flew out to Germany on Thursday 12 July 2007 to compete in a series of games in preparation for England's Tri Nations Handball Tournament later this year . Representative players from the club are Peter Haider, Colin Radcliiffe and youngster Jack Hennessey. Each was understandably delighted at being selected to represent England at the games .
For the last six weeks the players have been following an intensive strength and conditioning training programme which has included weekend squad training at the Greenbank Sports Academy. The trio are pictured above with Club Chairman and England Handball Coaching tutor, John Jacobson and below with the full England Squad.
